Time is slipping,

slipping through my fingertips, and

no time to listen,

to hear the wisdom in your speech.

Don’t slip away,

don’t lose the beauty of this day.

Don’t fail to see,

the air is sweet, you need to breathe.

The clock is ticking,

marking time in black and white, and

no time for thinking,

no time to know what’s wrong or right.

Don’t slip away,

don’t lose your gaze upon my face.

Don’t turn to leave,

I’m there beside you, turn to me.

Seek my face.

Let me guide you, let me love you.

I’ll lead the way.

Take my hand and let me ease

the worries of your day.

Coz time is slipping,

slipping through this gift I give, and

no time to listen,

to hear the words I long to speak.

Don’t slip away,

don’t lose the life you’re there to live.

Don’t rush to leave,

there’s so much more of life to see.

Seek my face.

Let me guide you, let me love you.

I’ll lead the way.

Take my hand and let me ease

the worries of your day.

Time is slipping. Time is slipping. Time is slipping.
